Helping Teens Heal and Grow Through Writing and Creativity
Write To Heal Workshop | Youth Journaling & Creative Writing
The Write To Heal Workshop by We Trust In Us invites youth ages 13–18 to explore healing, growth, and creativity through writing. Led by author and instructor Breanna Griffin, this one-day, in-person workshop teaches journaling, storytelling, mindset, and publishing basics all through real experience and authentic connection.
Participants use writing as a tool for self-reflection, emotional release, and confidence building, creating personal journals that capture their stories and goals. The workshop environment encourages open discussion, self-expression, and personal growth, offering a safe space for youth to speak and be heard.
Each participant completes the program with a journal, new writing techniques, and a stronger sense of identity. Breanna also showcases her own published works to inspire youth to see writing as a lifelong outlet for empowerment and creativity.
Held at the Treeboy Store in South Sacramento, Write To Heal is more than a writing class it’s a pathway toward emotional freedom, healing, and personal strength.
